I calculate tide times and heights for the fictional secondary port named Edenfield. Edenfield's standard port is Hamilton Sound. So I need to use the tidal information and curve for Hamilton sound, but calculate the differences for Edenfield first and then I can use the HW time, height and LW height on the Hamilton Sound tidal curve. 0:00 Describe problem scenario 1:24 Get tide times and heights from Almanac 1:50 Note particular HW and LW times and heights for date 2:25 Show Secondary Port differences from Almanac 2:45 Draw scale for Standard and Secondary port HW time differences 3:45 Calculate Secondary port HW time 3:53 Draw scale and calculate HW Height for Secondary port 5:48 Create Tidal Curve using HW Time and Height and LW height 7:18 Convert UTC-1 to local time 7:58 Calculate a second example for another day 8:45 Work out HW Time difference 9:07 Work out HW Height difference 9:22 Work out LW Height difference 9:27 Mark up Tidal curve using calculated data #secondaryPort #tidalCurve #secondaryPortCalculations
