Here is Part 1 of Round 4 of my Every Inch CHSR construction series. It starts at the south end of CP4 near Shafter and ends at Deer Creek Viaduct. First, I want to say that I decided not to make a voice over for this one. I tried. You never know how much a room echoes until you record yourself and then play it back. It sounded like I was recording in a toilet stall of a huge men's restroom! I'm going to have to make myself a little recording booth or something. Maybe I'll figure it out by the next round. Even though there have not been a lot of changes in CP4, I wanted to start this one all the way back at mile 1. Now that I have a new computer, I am now shooting, editing, rendering, and uploading in 4K. They are starting the orchard removal for the railhead near Shafter. I still did a side-by-side at the Kern Irrigation District canal realignment even though the only thing that has changed is the color of the grass :) There has been a lot of earth work between Allensworth and Deer Creek. Also, there is a lot of new concrete in the air on the Deer Creek Viaduct. If you didn't know, I crashed my drone a few weeks ago. It took a long time to get another one through the DGI Care replacement plan. It was taking too long and I went over to Costco to buy a second drone of the same make and model. The replacement finally came and I now own two of the same exact drone. Also, two controllers, two more batteries, and more spare props. I also bought a second case and a new Zoom H1 Essential field microphone :) My first direct deposit from the YouTube Partner Program should be coming in a couple days. The "pay period" ends around the 12th of every month and the deposit happens around the 22nd of every month. My first check with the Super Thanks and the AdSense will be about $181. Not bad for my first check, just taking my hobby a little more seriously. It only goes up from here (hopefully hehe) Google Earth Map https://earth.google.com/earth/d/1Yhp_EbwZmJaviUJKwtkbkeOOgXgiSR7f?usp=sharing 00:00 Google Earth Fly In, Shafter, Poplar Ave 00:43 Merced Ave, Future Railhead Staging Area 02:07 Kimberlina Rd, Wasco Viaduct, Wasco 03:38 Poso Ave, Wasco Amtrak Station 04:25 Highway 43 / 46, McCombs Rd 05:25 Kern Irrigation District Canal Realignment, Taussig Ave 06:18 Poso Creek Viaduct 07:28 Peterson Rd, Pond Rd, Magnolia Ave 09:04 Squirrel!!!, Semitropic Water Storage District, Woollomes Ave 10:42 Garces Highway, Goober Selfie, Scofield Ave 11:37 Leaving Kern and Entering Tulare Counties, Leaving CP4 and Entering CP 2/3 12:16 Avenue 16, Allensworth, Avenue 24 14:22 Avenue 44 Ag Crossing, Allensworth, Alpaugh 15:10 Avenue 56, Deer Creek Viaduct Area This is a list of Amazon affiliate links to a lot of my droning and camping stuff I use.
