The Streets of Bennington are buzzing with news and gossip about a gunfight that erupted on the edge of the forest last night. There’s talk of police cars, sirens, shotgun blasts and escaped kidnappers. Apparently, three gangsters were killed and several police officers are badly wounded - some say dead. A manhunt is now being organised to find Lucas Strong’s missing son and catch the escaped gangsters. Rumour has it, that Mr Strong, a local industrialist, has announced a $5,000 reward for the safe return of his son and is also willing to pay $25 a day to anyone who can aid their rescue.
