Now that the 2000 Camaro SS in running with the new heads and cam it is time for a stereo. It is common to want to go with a double din replacement in the 4th gen camaro. Going from a 1.5 din to a double din is actually easy with the metra installation kit. My son wanted to use his phone for music and all of the bose or monsoon speakers were bad. To go along with the double din install we put in new speakers, subwoofer wiring, window guides or window stabilizers, steering wheel radio controls, parking brake bypass and all the goodies. I have to say the NVX Speakers are absolutely amazing. The pods or baffles and even better. I will be using them going forward in everything I swap speakers in. The factory Camaro speakers almost always need replacing. The made noise at the halfway point on bass. Check out the new radio install and find out what it looks like after.
