Finally arrived in Cambodia's most "complex" city, Sihanoukville.
Why is it called complex?
Most of the news you see online or in the media about scams, organ trafficking, or people being forced into labor—these issues almost all happen here.
But what you might not know is that the masterminds behind these activities are rarely Cambodian!
Yes, the security situation in Sihanoukville is indeed problematic, but most crimes are related to gambling, drugs, or illegal industries; and many of these issues are driven by foreigners exploiting the country's legal loopholes.
Of course, local mismanagement, corruption among officials, and police bribery also contribute to these problems. However, to be honest, if you are a tourist or a businessman engaged in legitimate activities, you are unlikely to get involved in such trouble!
This is a serious misunderstanding that "you will get into trouble in Cambodia." It’s difficult to explain fully in just a few words or a short video. Ultimately, I hope to share an objective view of the world as I understand and have seen it, rather than blindly believing media or online opinions about places you haven’t personally visited.
