The point is, I want to use a new camera because it's easy and convenient, but it ends up being over-specced and over-priced, and I'm having trouble finding a camera that's just right because the average user base is so far removed from how I use it.
The manufacturers are also trying hard to find new products, so it's not that anyone is to blame, but it's difficult.
