【From Aso to Unzen】Take the Yamanami Highway, view the caldera of Aso from the spectacular Daikanbo Lookout, admire the spacious scenery of Kusasenrigahama, pass through the Nakadake Crater, arrive at Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki Prefecture in the evening, return to Kumamoto, visit the Tsujun Bridge, now a national treasure, and stay overnight in the car at Michi no Eki Kikusui. The next day, take the Ariake Ferry to Unzen and proceed to Heisei Shinzan Nature Center and Unzen Hell.
This 2,700-km journey from Tokyo to Kyushu in a campervan, unbound by schedule, will begin now, as we encounter mind-blowing scenery and unexpected experiences, and regain our freedom and our true selves!
