We recently came across a video where a the front of a gas burning Small Block Chrysler was literally blown off by a crankshaft that came unglued at high RPM. The nature of the damage was highly unusual for an N/A gas burner, but it reminded us of a certain type of damage we used to come across regularly on blown nitro engines. Here's what we determined by watching the autopsy of this engine and why we suspect the timing chain was the cause of it all.
