I've been browsing Ebay for some cheap motors to see if I could use them improve some of my old ho locomotives. I ended up ordering 7 12-24 volt skew-wound five poles for this test and am pretty impressed by how well they work. These motors cost me around $4 each so it doesn't seem too bad for the money.
