Underground homes have stood the test of time: from the Australian Outback to the ancient dwellings of the Southwest, using the Earth as a natural insulator is a proven way to beat extreme temperatures. My idea? Dig into my own land to see if building a limestone dugout is even possible.
The plan was simple:
✔️ Find solid limestone
✔️ Test its stability
✔️ Determine if a cave home could work
But after hours of digging, I found something I wasn't expecting... No limestone, at least not where I thought it would be. Now, I have to rethink everything. Is there a way to find the limestone without tearing up the desert? Maybe you have an idea, so feel free to leave a constructive comment :)
