Hey everyone!
In this video I decided to share one of my latest illustrations which is a Gouache Painting of the Blue Wizards, but addressing an unusual tehcnique that I've been exploring lately. It's basically painting with Gouache using only Watercolor techniques instead, and not building up the illustration from thin to thick layers, but keeping only thin layers of glazing effects. This is a tricky technique once Gouache can be reactoivated with water, but you have to apply a very, very soft and gentle touch with the brush to do not disturb the layers underneath. The results really worth it.
Try this technique and let me know in the comments what you guys think.
