The Myanmar military has a handsome amount of short and medium range ballistic missiles. Tatmadaw or the Myanmar Armed Forces, bought these missiles from North Korea and China. Hwasong-5 & Hwasong-6 ballistic missiles are further development of the soviet R-17 Elbrus widely known as the Scud Missile.
Burmese military poses a great threat to Bangladesh. From the very beginning of the creation of Burma, as an independent state, the Myanmar military showed its rogue nature towards its neighbors’. Currently the military junta of Burma oppresses its own citizens and violated Bangladesh’s sovereignty several times. To safeguard sovereignty and national interests Bangladesh neutralizes Burma’s ballistic missile threats through effective means!
