I thought of this run when I remembered Persona 3 (PS2). In that game, you only have direct control of the protagonist. Everyone else is like an NPC party member.
So I tried to beat the game with only auto-battle. It has a LOT of limitations that became apparent as the run progressed. Some archetypes are utterly useless here!
Rules:
-No direct commands (which is normal attacks, archetype & synthesis, skill, items, passing, defending)
-Tactics can only be changed at the start of my turn
-Even the Protagonist will be on auto battle only (unlike in Persona 3)
This is my first challenge run in any JRPG. I made use of the tips and techniques I discovered during my first run to get me through it. You could try it yourself, but not if you're a beginner!
