I'll describe the challenge and opportunity I got to design a circuit and firmware to run aboard the HUNITY satellite, a BME (https://www.bme.hu/en) pocketqube mission carrying a number of different experiments into low earth orbit. We'll talk about satellites and then get to business with kicad, actually spinning up a fresh new space-worthy PCB.
We got the call to join at the very last minute, and everything will have to work the first time if we want to be ready for launch, but I'm going to give it all I've got, and learn a lot along the way.
