Want to know what this is all about? Creative Whispers is a unique YouTube series featuring four artists, a secret prompt, and a creative game of artistic interpretation. The challenge? Each artist works only from the previous artist’s piece—without ever knowing the original prompt! Think of it like a game of Telephone, but instead of whispering a phrase to each other, we're whispering art journaling inspiration instead!
Here's how we organized it so far:
I kick things off by creating a journal page based on a secret prompt. I recorded my creative process, allowing viewers to guess what the prompt might be.
The Second Artist (Tina Hois) watched Leaca's video, made her own guess as to what the prompt was, and filmed herself creating with her guessed prompt in mind. She then sent her video to Wendy.
Wendy watched ONLY Tina's video, guessed what she thought the prompt was, and filmed creating in her art journal based on her guess. I then she sent her video onto Gabrielle Heckenbucker.
Gabrielle, having only seen my video, repeated this process.
