Can you hear the difference? - stainless steel vs nickel silver frets

Do stainless steel frets sound different? A question I've been wondering myself for years... there seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions online so I decided to bite the bullet and get a refret done on my Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul. Prior to the refret I installed brand new strings and recorded various tones through my Suhr PT15IR. After the refret I had another new set of new strings installed and recorded myself playing the same things again. Is there a difference tonally? Now you can decide for yourself!
