Hi, nice to see you :)) Thank you for watching my video - it’s deeply appreciated.
Welcome to episode 2 of me trying to make an album with no experience, skills or money... IKR?
I know I’ve always been interested in those BTS videos of people making their albums but was always stumped on how people just ‘knew’ how to make one - so I figured I should take you on a journey to making an album of my own - making sure to document things as I go and hopefully inspire people like me that simply don’t know how to begin.
Here’s an attempt at trying to make an album ://
Make sure you follow along to see the final product and ultimately the soundscape of my mind when it comes to how I imagined these songs to be when I was writing them in my room.
I talk about:
1. The outcome of the second draft of my song ‘seventeen’ and further production ideas
2. The recording process (it’s getting real)
3. Roadblocks/doubts surrounding the process
4. Recording the official vocal stem
5. Finding the sound and aesthetic of the album
6. Setbacks in the process of making an album
7. Education regarding making a song
Keep watching to see if you've felt the way I have.
Let me know what you think in the comments below. If it's something I don't agree with, I'll cancel you. This is not a democracy.
