"Captain America Should Not Represent 'America'" - Comic Collector Explains Why Mackie Is Wrong...

In this video I talk about the recent comments made by Anthony Mackie (and also Chris Evans) during the press tour for Captain America Brave New World. Anthony said that he felt that Cap doesn't need to represent America. I disagree. And I explain why using Mark Gruenwald's run from the 80's (coincidentally the story that was used to influence the Falcon & Winter Solider series). I don't really like to get swept up in the culture war but I wanted to discuss this topic since it people are claiming that his comments align with the comics. I don't think that's true.
