Ebay auction is on this link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/224100317027 The making of the Monster Tree negative is on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPs-eSrEI18 In this vlog I'm celebrating a personal conviction that analogue contact copy carbon print is the most beautiful way a photograph may look like. I've learned carbon printing process in 2013, but after years of practice, I've found the best way how to make the most beautiful print from my negatives, alligned with my vision of a great print. As you've seen in the vlog, I'm mixing potassium dichromate in the glop (pigmented gelatin) and slowing down the hardening process with sodium hydroxide. In this way the carbon print is sensitive through out the thickness of the pigmented gelatin yielding the most pleasing tonality for my eyes. You might give it a try if you're a carbon printer. If you want to learn this processes, I will have workshops again, eventually, but for now, just send me an email on [email protected] and I'll notify you when pandemic will ease out.
