Welcome to Class 8 of our Card Making 101 series! In our previous class, we began designing handmade cards using the SIP method – Stamps, Ink, and Paper – an easy and effective way to create simple yet beautiful cards. Today, we’re going to take those same SIP cards we already made and step them up. I want to share with you a few simple ways to step up your cards that will not require you to purchase many additional supplies. To help inspire your creativity, we’ve also have a free downloadable inspiration sheet with simple ways to step up your cards – let’s take your card making skills to the next level!
In class 8 of our Card Making 101 series, you’ll learn simple ways to step up your cards by:
-Cutting and/or punching your sentiment layer
-Adding a small bow
-Adding embellishments
The format of this video may be different than you're used to! In this class, I (Jackie, an experienced card maker) teach my daughter Jesi (a beginner) different ideas to step up her handmade cards. Follow along as Jesi learns the tips and tricks for confident card making - you’ll be learning right alongside her!
