In this session, we’ll hear from Dr. Eric Mejia, a Marine Corps veteran whose path from the legal field to higher education highlights his passion for leadership and student success.
After building a career in law firms, Dr. Mejia transitioned to admissions and student enrollment at top institutions. Now, he leads the admissions department at Verbum Dei Jesuit High School, dedicated to empowering young men from families with limited resources. Verbum Dei “offers a college prep curriculum, corporate work experience, and faith formation that shapes young men into men-with-and-for-others—ready to serve their communities and create a more just and humane world.
