🟢 Introduction to Jung:
Carl Gustav Jung, an eminent figure in 20th-century psychology, is famous for founding analytical psychology, an approach that has profoundly influenced the study of the human psyche. Born in Switzerland in 1875, Jung began his career as a psychiatrist. His collaboration and subsequent break with Sigmund Freud led him to develop revolutionary theories of his own, including the concepts of the collective unconscious, archetypes and the individuation process.
Jung explored the importance of spiritual and religious experiences in the life of the individual, placing special emphasis on the integration of psychological opposites within the personality.
