Featured is an instructive and nearly perfect chess game between Magnus Carlsen and Wei Yi from the German Bundesliga 2024/2025. In response to Wei's Sicilian Najdorf, Carlsen prevents a b5 advance with a4. After 6...e5, a positional battle ensues surrounding the d5-hole. Once Wei breaks with f5, play sharpens and both players must find important defensive moves to release pressure. This game was played on January 12th, 2025.
