‘The View’ co-host Joy Behar has criticised singer Carrie Underwood’s decision to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration.
During a segment on Tuesday, Behar slammed Underwood for supporting and normalising a “convicted felon”.
“She says ‘I love our country.’ How do you love your country and support and normalize somebody who was a convicted felon who really wants to destroy the country, in my opinion,” Behar said.
“I don’t understand how you say you love your country at the same time that you normalize this convicted felon.”
The singer-songwriter will reportedly perform ‘America is Beautiful’ at the president-elect’s inauguration on January 20.
