One of those things that I want to do whenever I can is carve alone in the forest, creating a serene ASMR experience. Listening just to the birds and the gentle sounds of my axe and knife striking the wood provides a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Using birch that I had harvested this winter, I created a spreader and an eating spoon during this session. This was merely some rough carving, with the soothing sounds of wood shavings and gentle tapping from my axe and knife. I allowed the wood to dry for a few weeks before making the final cuts because it was still green. Enjoy the carving sounds as I work with the natural elements.
