Was out trying to film the good old Lingcod catch and cook. Daniel and I went on the Jetty with some squid and we knew there was a good chance to catch a rockfish, ling, cabezon or Monkeyface Prickle Back Eel. Ended up catching the latter and decided to cook it since eels this size don't come around too often. Made our fire, filleted, gutted, skinned and cleaned the fish before seasoning it with salt, pepper, and mesquite seasoning. Once the fish was cooked Daniel threw it all together in a taco and I made myself a bowl with cilantro, avocado, onions, salsa and butter. Highly recommended whether you cook it on the rocks or take it home and enjoy it that way!
