2 fish in the first 5 minutes, and they just kept coming! My Jan Juc worms could barely touch the bottom before a fish would nibble them, and on one cast they even took the worms before they hit the bottom!
I drove over to Echuca-Moama to give the Murray River a go, and setup just behind Horseshoe Lagoon next to the old bridge. The water is still fairly high, but that only made bait fishing easier, because I could find some depth without tackling the major currents. It might have been a carp fest, but it was LOADS of fun!
23 fish landed in total in just under 3 hours, including a new personal best with a HUGE silver perch measuring 46cm. What a session!
