Next, it’s off to scenic Colorado & New Mexico where the steam locomotives of the Cumbres & Toltec battle the steep Rocky Mountains every day. You’ll see trains traversing the entire line from Chama, New Mexico to Antonito, Colorado, climbing over 10,015 foot Cumbres Pass in the process. With heavy trains and stiff grades, there is plenty of stack talk for the steam locomotive fan here!
