I've had some recent encounters with this particular musico-religious sect, and even for an art form as subjectively vaporous as music, its members have been strikingly irrational and unpleasant. So here are my thoughts on this striking and unfortunate phenomenon. Of course, in making these comments I am poking at the proverbial anthill with a stick, but hey, that's part of my job too.
