Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Happy #CelloTipTuesday, my dolls! For this week's video I have a scale cycle exercises for beginner cellists that spans one octave on G, F, Bb major and TWO octaves on C & D major! If you're revisiting this video, the exercise begins at 4:27 👌🏻! Having a scale warmup routine is very important, and this exercise is the most challenging as it is the last part. The metronome is a few clicks faster, and we're playing more eighth notes than before, but Celli & I can't wait to have you play along with us! Watch Part 2 of my Beginner Scale Cycle here: https://youtu.be/6wOzJMIJRec Watch Part 1 of my Beginner Scale Cycle here: https://youtu.be/ZKBAQcnev6A 🖤🥀🎻💀🎻🥀🖤 Here is the exercise written out, in addition to the intro I provide in the video. We begin with C major, but as you get comfortable you can keep this pattern and start on a different key for variety & an extra challenge: -C major: One half note, followed by 2 slurred quarter notes -G major: Two slurred half notes, followed by a half note -D major: One half note, followed by 4 slurred eighth notes -F major: Four slurred eighth notes, followed by a half note -Bb major: Two slurred quarter notes, followed by 4 slurred eighth notes -C major: Four slurred eighth notes, followed 2 slurred quarter notes -D major: Four slurred eighth notes per bow 🖤🥀🎻💀🎻🥀🖤 Support The Cello Doll on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/TheCelloDoll If you're interested in taking virtual or in-person lessons with me, please email me at: [email protected]!
