One of the biggest draws to angling is the element of the unknown, it’s often a key aspect as to why many anglers were drawn to the pastime at a young age. The thought of what lies beneath is something that can offer a real thrill. As the years have ticked on by, finding a lake with a stock which is relatively unknown is very rare but there are a few venues that can still offer this commodity. Myles Gibson was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to fish a vast venue known as the Ski Pit, with a stock that contained a few known fish, as well as some complete mysteries. He of course jumped at the chance and we managed to follow him every step of the way.
