In this installment, I embark on a journey an hour away from Melbourne to the charming regional town of Castlemaine. Our mission: to pursue the 707 Operations tour 'The Winelander,' featuring three vintage Victorian Railways Y Class locomotives running on the Victorian Goldfields railway. Following that, we traverse the countryside to reach the Daylesford Spa Railway, eagerly anticipating the inaugural service featuring the former V/Line N set.
