Ingredients:
• 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
• ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese (or any cheese of choice)
• 2 tbsp chopped coriander (optional)
• 1 tsp chili flakes
• ½ tsp garlic powder (or minced garlic)
• ½ tsp black pepper
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp cornflour (or all-purpose flour)
• 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (for binding)
For Coating:
• ½ cup all-purpose flour + ½ cup water (to make a slurry)
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
For Frying:
• Oil for deep frying
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Mixture:
• In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, grated cheese, coriander, chili flakes, garlic, black pepper, salt, cornflour, and breadcrumbs.
• Combine well and shape into small balls.
2. Coating:
• Prepare a slurry by mixing all-purpose flour with water.
• Dip each ball in the slurry, then coat with breadcrumbs.
3. Frying:
• Heat oil in a deep pan.
• Fry the cheeseballs on heat until golden brown and crispy.
• Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
4. Serving:
