I Continue the series of making fabulous burgers. Today is CHEESEBURGER WITH CRISPY STRING POTATOES.
Yes, if you make normal burgers, just go to McDonald. My burger is half pound beef patty with a thick cheese melting over. A thick raw slice of red onion and a bunch of crispy strings potato add drama.
Ingredients:
For 1 serving:
1 burger bun, cut in half, toasted with butter in a skillet
1/2 pound beef patty ( for flavor use 80% chuck, 20% brisket)
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 shallot, minced
2 slices ginger, minced
Grind together with beef
Season:
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 slice red onion
1 potato, peel into strings
Oil for frying
1 tablespoon mayo
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
2 slices cheddar cheese
