Marina Fish Fry Recipe:
Ingredients -
Cookd Marina Fish Fry Kit - 1 no.
Lemon - 1 no.
Water
Fish - 750 g
Curry leaves
Instructions -
Mix 1 pouch masala to a bowl with water, add juice from 1 lemon and mix to form a thick paste.
Apply the marinade on 750g-1kg of fish and spread it evenly.
Heat a pan, add oil and tawa fry, add curry leaves.
Add the special marina sprinkler on top.
Akka’s fish curry recipe:
Ingredients -
Oil - 4 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
Onion (sliced) - 2 nos
Tamarind - 1 lemon sized portion
Water - 3 cups
Salt - 1 tsp
Kulambu molaga thool - 2-3 tbsp
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Tomato (sliced) - 2 nos
Fish - 500 g
Instructions -
In a bowl, soak the tamarind in water and strain out the pulp.
Add the tomatoes, curry leaves, molaga thool, salt into the tamarind water and mash well.
In a vessel, heat oil.
Splutter the mustard seeds, add the urad dal and fenugreek seeds.
Add the sliced onions and fry until golden brown.
Add the tamarind water, cover and simmer for 10 mins until thick and the oil separates.
Add the fish and cook further for 5 mins.
Serve hot with idlis !
