Chennakeshava Temple in Belur, Karnataka, is a masterpiece of Hoysala architecture and a significant historical and spiritual landmark.
Built in 1117 CE by King Vishnuvardhana of the Hoysala dynasty to commemorate his victory over the Chola Empire at Talakad.
