Follow Me On Instagram 👇🏻 Powerchef Pranav :- https://instagram.com/pranav.chef?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Chicken Biryani Ingredients:- Chicken - 1kg Basmati Rice - 600g Onions- 3(sliced) Whole Spices - 1 tsp(cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, mace, dagadphool, shahi jeera) Mint- handful Coriander- handful Curd - 1 cup(300g) Ginger garlic paste- 3 tb spn Lemon - 1 Chilli powder- 2 tb spn Coriander powder- 1 tb spn Cumin powder- 1 tsp Garam masala - 1 tsp Green chillies- 4(slit) Salt - To Taste Oil - 3 tb spn Ghee - 1 tb spn Saffron water- 1 tb spn Water - As Required. Method:- In a large bowl add chicken and marinate with lemon, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, curd and mix it well. Cover the marinated chicken and let it rest for 3 - 8 hours in a Refrigerator. In a pan add oil, whole spices, onion slices and salt. Sauté the onions till they turn golden brown. Now add marinate chicken and cook for while stirring. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes. In large pot of boiling water add oil, salt, whole spices. Now add 30 minutes soaked basmati rice to the boiling water and mix it once. Cook it for 8-9 minutes and strain the rice from water. Now to the half cooked chicken add mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies. Now add strained Rice and layer it. Then top it up with saffron water, ghee, mint leaves, coriander leaves. Seal the lid and dum cook it for 10-12 minutes on medium flame. Switch off the flame and rest for 5 minutes. Now serve piping hot Biryani with salad and Raita. #powerchef #pranav
