Chicken Fry
Ingredients:-
Chicken - 1.2kg(full bird)
Onion - 2(finely chopped)
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 3 tb spn
Coriander Powder- 1 tb spn
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Salt - To Taste
Water - As Required
Oil - 80ml
Crushed Pepper- 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri Chilli powder- 2 tbspn
Green chillies - 4
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Coriander leaves - handful
Lemon- 1
Method:-
In a large kadai add oil, chopped onion & salt. Saute it till onion turn golden brown colour. Then add turmeric, ginger garlic paste & cook it till raw flavour is gone. Then add chicken pieces & stir fry it for 5-7 minutes. Then close the lid & cook for 10 more minutes. Now add coriander powder, garam masala or chicken masala, cook it till oil oozes out. Add slit green chillies, crushed pepper, Kashmiri chilli powder, curry leaves & toss it on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
In the last add coriander leaves & switch off the heat. Squeeze in some lemon juice & serve it with Bagara Rice.
