O Chiemsee-Bahn é uma encantadora linha ferroviária com 1,9 km de comprimento que liga Prien am Chiemsee à estação de Prien-Stock. Tem a distinção de ser um dos poucos tramways a vapor que restam no mundo e é também o mais antigo tramway a vapor em funcionamento sem interrupção.

The Chiemsee-Bahn is a charming 1.9 km long railway line that connects Prien am Chiemsee with Prien-Stock station. It holds the distinction of being one of the few remaining steam tramways in the world and is also the oldest steam tramway that has been running without interruption.
The Chiemsee-Bahn has a fascinating collection of trains. It includes a steam engine and nine passenger cars, all of which have been preserved in their original condition since 1887. In addition to these historic gems, the railway also acquired a Deutz diesel engine in 1982. This engine, built in 1962, was purchased from the Halbergerhütte in Saarland.
