Jakoshi Mountain Pass, Yufu City, Oita Prefecture.
The quiet breath of nature in the early morning, and the magical scenery of the morning mist blanketing the entire area, are woven together to create the resonant sound of “Sunglow across the Sea of Clouds.”
Every month, our channel will stream soothing music set in regions that carry out initiatives to tackle climate change and global environmental challenges. Zurich is committed to climate change, and “Green Music produced by Zurich” is our official YouTube channel. Please enjoy the “Relaxing Sounds of Nature” that we upload every week.
Jakoshi Mountain Pass, Yufu City, Oita Prefecture, depicted in this animation, is named after a legend about a giant serpent once crossing this pass to return to the lake.
The observatory there is famous for providing a spectacular view overlooking the morning mist across the Yufuin basin.
With the aim of passing on “a rich and beautiful environment to the children of the future,” the region’s citizens and businesses are working together to preserve and restore the water environment, organize workshops, and carry out various other initiatives.
Kazuya Morita’s music is reminiscent of the magical scenery of the morning mist across the Yufuin Basin, and the healing sounds of nature that can be surreptitiously heard in the quiet of the morning.
We want to face climate change head on and leave behind a bountiful natural environment for future generations. Please click here to learn more about the background information on the works.
