Roushan in Weihai, Shandong Province, was the first city in China to receive the United Nations Human Settlements Award and was rated as the city most suitable for long-term human habitation. It is a 4A-level tourist attraction in China and a famous place for longevity in Shandong. I do not understand why such a city would be called a ghost town. I accidentally saw a video on Bilibili that shows seaside houses costing only tens of thousands of yuan, which inspired me to take a trip to Roushan.
