As RAF Aircrew Liz completed 10 Tours of Afghanistan, 2 Tours of Iraq, and was the longest serving female aircrew member on the aircraft, serving 17 years. At 21, she was also the youngest Aircrew to deploy to Iraq, and completed 4 years as the only female on the crew, leading to her title 'Chinook Crew Chick'. An extensive career with the MERT team ultimately met an end when Liz was medically discharged due to physical injury, and this is where her own battle began, fighting demons picked up along the way...
