Chopping Corn Silage with two John Deere 9800 Self Propelled Forage Harvesters | Fair Oaks Indiana

In this video I visited a dairy farm near Fair Oaks Indiana as they were chopping corn silage and building a large silage pile. This corn silage will be used to feed the farms dairy herd over the next year.

In the field is two John Deere 9800 Self Propelled Forage Harvesters with headers taking twelve 30 inch rows of corn per pass. Most of the silage is being hauled from field to farm with semi trucks and trailers and there is 4 John Deere Tractors pushing and packing the corn silage on a large pile.
