I'm going to be completely transparent here. I have been very far from God these past few months. The pain of the illness was really getting to me and I was contemplating ending it all. Last month I opened and read my bible for the first time in months, and I've been working on regrowing my relationship with God and keeping my eyes on Jesus. My will to live is slowly coming back as I regrow my faith and I give all thanks to Jesus, who found a way to reach me despite the fact I had completely shut Him out.
