Showtape Title: CEC September 1991 Show
Release Date: September 10, 1991
This is the September 1991 Show for Chuck E. Cheese's stores. This is an intersting show, as unlike the other tape released this year, this show has no theme. All of the songs are different genres, and have little to do with each other. Another interesting thing about this show is the use of "Rhythm of the Night" in segment 1. This song, as well as the music video are completely reused from the September 1990 show, and it's the only song in any of the 1991 showtapes to not be generic. What's interesting about this is that the September 1990 show still used the old Helen walkaround (which was just her CU cosmetics), and still featured Nancy Lenihan as her voice. So because of this, two different Helens appear in this show. Apparently this show's schedule was going to be completely different. Segment 3 was to be exactly the same as the released version, but segment 1 was originally going to contain the songs "Resposibility" and "My Good Name", and segment 2 was going to have a song called "Family Times" along with "Happy and You Know It" and "This Old Man". "Family Times" was rejected by Corp for unknown reasons, and was removed from the show. The final version on the show had moved "Responsibly" to segment 2, and "Rhythm of the Night" from Sept '90 was used in its place in segment 1. Almost all of the songs that debuted on this tape would be reused in intermissions of future shows, and segment 3 would appear on 1993's "Best of CEC TV".
