I had to change the chain on the Himalayan for the third time! I think there was a problem with the previous chain as it only lasted 5 or 6 thousand miles before tight spots and extreme slack spots developed. The old chain was a D.I.D chain which may have been a fake! DID are know for being good chains.
I brought the Himalayan new and got 14K miles from the original OE chain!
Anyway, I've replaced the drive sprocket, the wheel sprocket and the chain all for original Royal Enfield parts.
The bike is running fine again now.
