Stumbled upon this patch that locks the avdogs together in a rhythm and beat. Seems fairly stable even in a larger patch. The "undulation" knob seems to have the biggest effect on as does the snare length. This patching technique seems to also work with the gongs. Hope this helps some people become friends with the dogs again :)
