This video takes an in-depth look at Cimarron Firearms' Winchester 1887 12 gauge shotgun which was recently released. The shotgun is a replica of Winchester's famous 1887 lever action shotgun designed by John Browing. Fortunately, they've updated the gun and included the improvements from the 1901.
We'll take a look at the history of the original 1887, unbox Cimarron's version of this iconic cowboy and "Terminator 2" gun, we'll examine the action, test the trigger, put a recoil sleeve and lever action wrap on it and finally take it to the range and see how it handles slugs, shot and clays.
For any cowboy action or wild bunch enthusiasts - you're gonna like this one! I genuinely enjoyed the gun when shooting skeet (and I haven't done that since I was a kid).
