This smartphone pair serve up vastly different specs, starting with completely different camera hardware. The Oppo Find X8 Pro is superior for zoom shots with its dual periscope setup but Google's phone captures more natural tones. That said, the Pixel 9 Pro XL isn't as strong for video recording.
Performance is another big divider. The Oppo Find X8 Pro is powered by Mediatek's Dimensity 9400 with dedicated cooling, so gaming is a fluid, judder-free experience. In my testing time with the Pixel 9 Pro XL, I've seen a lot more frame rate drops thanks to that Tensor G4 chipset.
Battery life is excellent on both however, with the Google phone keeping up or even surpassing the Oppo Find X8 Pro with its enormous silicon carbon cell.
