I especially love this recipe because it's so quick to throw together which is what makes it my go-to when I need dinner done in a pinch! INGREDIENTS:
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 large yellow onion, diced small
5-6 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb ground beef
1 14 oz can crushed tomatoes, fire-roasted or regular
1 14 oz can diced tomatoes, fire-roasted or regular
2 Tablespoons tomato paste
1 14 oz can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 14 oz can navy beans, rinsed and drained
1 1/4 cups chicken stock
Seasonings
2 Tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
1 healthy pinch cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon maple syrup *optional to balance the acidity
